He’s written books on COBOL, Fortran, Visual Basic, Java, C#, ASP, Web programming, and probably a few he’s forgotten about. He’s the author of more than 30 For Dummies books, including best-sellers such as Networking For Dummies (7th Edition), Networking For Dummies All-in-One Desk Reference, PowerPoint 2003 For Dummies, and Internet Explorer 6 For Dummies. Doug recently completed writing the Java All In One Desk Reference For Dummies and both the C# and VB versions of Murach’s ASP.NET 2.0 Upgrader’s Guide. Doug also teaches programming courses at a local community college.
